if the Wings can get the Datsyuk line going, then the Wings will really be in business. Game 1 was a bit too tight for my liking, but i still don't know what to expect from this series..

i honestly dont know. does anyone know of Lidstrom saying anything about how much longer he wants to go rather than me just guessing?

not a bad opening period for Game 1. Wings let in a goal off a bad bounce - not holding that against Ozzie. Wings played a better last 10 minutes of the period with more puck possession and more shots. lets see more of that in the 2nd!

IF the Wings win the Stanley Cup again and Osgood gets the Conn Smythe, there should be no questions and no objections to his worthiness to the Hall of Fame. Osgood has simply brought his play (yet again) to another world in the playoffs as opposed to regular season play.

see i feel that if retaining Hossa means giving up Flip and Hudler is worth as much as i love Hudler. the guys in Grand Rapids have proven they can hang with the NHL talent.

welll.....here we are folks. Game 7. this is it, the Wings need 100% from everyone, no fooling around. if anyone is going to the Joe for the game you need to scream your lungs out, i neeed to hear the Joe rocking tomorrow! GO WINGS GO! lets not have this be our last game of the season! -
ah, i forgot about that incident. i actually didn't feel all good about it, i felt like Chelios should have just stood in line like everybody else. and i have to stick to that opinion for tomorrow no matter what happens, as much as id love to see the entire Wings team diss them and just skate off without a handshake due to the Ducks' insult to the game by way of their play, it wont happen.

concise and pithy enough! As much as the Ducks are goons, the Wings just have to make it happen tomorrow regardless of how cheap and dirty the Ducks play.

i care cause im tired of the Ducks cheap-shotting and by and large getting away with it. Niedermayer should be suspended. The intent to injure was there, what does it matter if his elbow landed or not?

the only reason Niedermayer shouldn't be suspended is because he didn't actually land the elbow on Datsyuk's face

HOLY CRAP! i did not see that elbow when it was happening live! and the OP said it absolutely correct. that was DEFINITELY an intent to injury Niedermayer threw his freaking elbow in Datsyuk's face!

this game was so very frustrating to watch. couldnt get any real chances in the offensive zone, had a hard time entering the Ducks' zone, and the few times the Wings did, they ahd poor chances. so much for Wings in 5 huh? Game 7. Toss up. Now i dont know what to expect.

obviously a huge game. the wings have the choke hold on the ducks - finish the series TONIGHT dont fool around and risk a game 7. itd be great to see datsyuk to get a goal (or two!)
