i reserved any judgment or any type of prediction in my mind on this series until game one was over. i feel the rest of the series will be a real grinding style of play and pace. absolutely nothing easy. the key for the red wings to get this series is to keep traffic in front of hiller - make him uncomfortable. The Lidstrom GWG was a direct effect from the red wings swarming Hiller's kitchen. keep it up, this series will not go easy, and truly i can see this going 6 or 7 quite easily.

if luongo stonewall's the blackhawks....look out. the canucks dont have a powerhouse offense but they certainly dont need it with the way luongo is playing. this series should be great, both teams are in uncharted waters

always plays tough after the red wings... i dont know i feel about this match up. the ducks will fight, they will try to intimidate, they will cheap shot when needed. 07 vs. 09 red wings. time will tell.

true but i think we all should have seen this coming. the ducks are in 8th place yes, but they also have a lot of the same players who won the stanley cup in 2007 as well. they know how to win the playoffs. and the sharks cant seem to make it happen in the playoffs regardless of what place they are seeded.

maybe the jackets just realize that simply aren't good enough - not that im trying to sound like a jerk but they have absolutely nothing to show for the first three games in this series... they've scored 2 goals in 3 games. enough said.

first off that stuart hit was seriously AMAZING. im not being ahomer here or anything but that was 100% clean and he just knocked umberger silly. plain as that. and that video of commodore throwing himself into the wings bench and then zetterberg scoring soon after must be soo frustrating as a jackets player. trying to do something to spark your team and then you get scored on. i know if i were on the ice in that situation id just feel as if the wings were just too good at that point.

i know that the Habs had plenty of problems coming into the playoffs but carey price..... just painful to watch.
