Cleaning up Holland’s bad contracts

I think Dallas may win it all. They are getting production from all 4 lines, secondary scoring coming up big (Pavelski was a great signing) and their top defense is carrying the puck very well. They are winning in different ways, which was shown tonight in the WCF game 1, 1-0 win.

hockey in the South just mostly doesn't work. ATL failed twice, Carolina, Nashville (works with a ton of transplants not from the area) Dallas is fine.

The thing is, do people actually care about the Hurricanes in NC or only when they're doing well? I lived there for a very short time a long time ago and it didn't exactly seem like a hockey hotbed but i can't speak for the whole area.

whoever the lady color commentator is, she's awful. That said, who would've thought the Carolina Hurricanes would be going to the ECF, let alone after 2 wins from their back up goalie.

BOS - never ever root for them CBJ - meh they just won their first playoff series CAR - that state cares more about NASCAR than hockey NYI - incredible historic fan base that surprised a lot of the NHL and is having success DAL- I like Seguin/Benn/Radulov STL - old rival, original expansion team who never gets it done SJ - win a Cup for Thornton? They advanced on a horrible major penalty in their favor COL - nope

I’ve watched quite a few Stars games and Miro Heiskanen reminds me somewhat of Lidstrom in how he plays defense in a very cerebral and active sense but not physically, necessarily. Idk if he will have the offensive ability as Lidstrom, but some areas of his game are candidly similar.
