03/26/1997. 97 and 98 cup wins (coincided w/ my QC Mallards winning the CoHL/UHL trophy) 01/02/2007 when #19 would never be worn again in Detroit (first game at the Joe) first NHL game at Chicago Stadium, hawks wings. It may have been a loss, but I loved Probert. And by loving probert, you love the Red Wings.

only reason I see Malts crack this lineup is if he, Draper, and Helm become the new grind line. Malts starts crap with other players, scores timely goals, and checks. Draper wins faceoffs and Helm/Abby f*** up everyone on the ice.

I really don't know what to say here. Growing up in Illinois at the tender age of 4 watching hockey on TV and watching Probert kick the f*** out of everyone in sight...He is the sole reason I started watching the Red Wings. No relatives were into hockey before me, so I didn't have "instruction" to follow the home team, there were no fans in the family. RIP Bob Probert. Wild Thing.....I think I love you....

guys, if you think he's going for money, Lidstrom could probably step into the open market and make as much as he is now, or slightly higher. HE'S LIDSTROM. Dale Tallon in Florida will write him a blank check! After all, if Huet could get 5.6 from him, Lids could get 15 easily.

We need a good policeman.......Aaron Downey? how about Stortini? He has been doing less hugging this season and more swinging. That, and he can score once every 2-3 weeks....unlike Maltby. Hey Dobbs, it's GOAL HORN. Nystrom wouldn't be a bad pickup either.
