Vacation has been good. That and the off-season can be a bit frustrating on the boards so I tend not to post as much. I hope Kane gets his head screwed on straight. He seemed normal enough in interviews I've seen of him, which probably means (in combination with the 5am time of this report) that alcohol was involved. He's got a lot of talent and he's good for marketing in Chicago. I'm bewildered that the NHL is helping sort this out in Buffalo though. That doesn't reek of suspicious behavior AT ALL

Same here. Not only that, but they weren't even going to tip him? What the H-E double f*** was that about? The cab ride was 13.80 and you weren't going to tip him? What a little *****. This is embarassing for Kane, for his family, for his hometown, for his team and for the NHL as a whole. f***, I'm embarassed for him and I kind of hate the little ******.

Actually, and I don't have a source so take this with a grain of salt, but I seem to remember Holland (joking or not, I am unsure) saying that he would retire when Lids retired. Either way, this sounds like a desperate rumor started by desperate people who are eager to stir some drama in Detroit. Ahhh, that makes a lot more sense within your arguement. Thanks for clarifying I'd still rather have a healthy Lilja than Lebda or Meech. I think he's pretty underrated and that he and Ericsson would make an awesome Pain Train/Big Rig third pairing next season. Of course that all hinges on whether Lils will be healthy enough to play next season, or again.

Re: The bolded I'm not saying you're wrong concerning Ericsson being younger and/or better, but to say that Lilja lost his spot to Big Rig is ludicrous. You do remember that Lils sustained a head injury that kept him from playing? And that he's still suffering headaches from said injury and don't know when he's going to be healthy enough to play next season. It's not like Lilja was playing poorly and Ericsson was brought in to replace him.

Well I was also on vacation for the past ten days with limited access to teh interwebz.

The Hudler threads are full more bitchy people than a sorority house full of pmsing females. I want him to stay, others want him to leave, I'm only going to stress myself out arguing with people who aren't going to change their minds. I'd rather keep my Rexy-love pure and silly. Just like him. (Well the silly part at least, )

Hossa... good luck except against the Wings. It was fun watching you during the regular season. Hope you and Koko have fun in Chicago! I have many good memories of you in a Winged Wheel. Thank you for the good ones. I'm going to try and blot out the not-so-good ones with some liquor.
