As much as I believe you're right, that this kid didn't really mean it, that doesn't mean it shouldn't be taken seriously. There have been enough examples of incidents where some person says something online and everyone laughs it off as not being serious and then people die. Better to be safe than sorry. What if this had ended with Alex dead?
