Pens have been playing very well this period. Caps look a bit flustered. Varlamov looks really good.

I think when he went in for the puck against Gill, his arm/wrist twisted inward funny. I don't think it was anything illegal. I hope it's just a mild sprain, or a shock from a sudden funny turn.

LOL, Varlamov shoulda let the puck go in after the period ended, a la Hasek's offsides 'goal' with the Sens (?), the Pens fans woulda gone crazy. Of course, they'd probably end up letting it count. Intent to shoot the puck or something like that.

Nice individual effort by Crosby... great save by Varlamov, and the Caps totally knocked the net off on purpose. Mostly likely saved a goal, but the way Varlamov has been playing, you never know.

I'm torn. I would like to see the Caps win and the Pens go down 3-0 in the series, but I think the Pens are very strong at home, and if the Caps do manage to get one in Pit, it'll probably be game 4. What I would like to happen: Caps and Canes win What I think will happen: Pens win, Canes/Bruins go to OT, Canes eventually winning.
