Nice win boys, what an awesome game, two penalty shots in one game! Unheard of! Hope everyone gets home safely they say we're suppose to get 8-12 inches of snow by tomorrow 7pm. Maybe we'll have a white christmas for once hehe! Night all, will update GDT in the morning.

This maybe a dumb statement but does the attendance really matter who has the best hockey town? I think what matters to making a hockey town great is the history of the team with the town IMO.

I totally agree, there used to be a lot of hockeytown authentics commercials during the games to break up the monotony. My fav was the draper one, "I wore it alright, geez!" "Yeah, those were mine too" lol

That is cool, I'm just tired of hearing about the low attendance is the only reason why they wanna name a new city hockeytown. How about giving the title to a city that deserves it? Not by just how many seats they sell!

Just because we've been having low attendence doesn't mean we aren't hockeytown anymore. Why must people keep trying to rip away our title!! This REALLY burns me to no end! Until they rip the hockeytown logo from the ice at the Joe no one can be called it! These people must be tired of Detroit being hockeytown or something. Or have too much time on their hands! grrrrrrrrrr!

Not sure who the goalies were because it wasn't on tv, but I found a pick of this goalie on the penguins site in a game that was played on 9/22/2007. I'm thinking it was howard but not sure. His number was 35, can anyone help?
