Yes, I agree 100%. They still need to clean up the NHL a little bit. That's why I think fighting needs to still be there. Without, players are just going after players on a regular basis it seems. Because they know no one will stand up and fight. Gawd I REALLY wish there was more us fans could do about we want our sport to look and feel and be available to EVERYONE like NBA and MLB and NFL are!

I was home by myself and parents came home I was hooting and hollering. Hubby was at work. We went out and celebrated after that game. That was the best game EVER!! PATTY WAHHHHH, I still have the papers from that lol!

I personally feel that no series is a cake walk. It takes determination, hard work, passion, and skill to win a series. The sharks case, they seem to have lost their life blood once the wings stole one in san jose. I'm just believing in my team and stating what we've been able to prove without key people. The ducks personally scare me too, just like the sharks did. But I still feel it will be a tough, hard fought series. Remember, it's our revenge, we got it against Calgary.

We have shown that we can win without schnieds, homer and lebda. I think the play of chlie last night was outstanding. the more ice time you get, the more wonders one player can do to help out while another mate is donw. Wings in 6!

This year, from what I'm seeing is different than all the other years after 2002. To me they are showing mega demtermination! If they wanted to bust, they could have easily let the sharks run all over them the past 2 games. This is a team with a lot of new faces. I feel they want to win it all for the younger guys who haven't had the chance to taste winning the cup yet. But if they do not go all the way, I won't be disappointed, I'm happy just like the rest of you that they have gotten this far!

From what Bernie said on WDIV broadcast at 5:30 they are still going to show the wings game but have a corner box for the derby. Or knowing our luck as hockey fans the game box will be 2by2 and the derby will be the whole screen ARG! This urks me to no end. I wouldn't mind if it was the regular season. Everyone else can watch the other sports on their respective channels like baseball and basketball but us hickey fans ALWAYS get screwed "cause it's not big enough" PFFFT

I just found out that FSN detroit will carry game 1 of the red wings playoffs. It's on the web site at fsn.com Also check out fsn plus which is channel 14 on wow cable for 48312 zip code. They might have some games on there. If all else fails there's always Don Cherry and channel 9 on most cable providers.
