I'm a huge fan of Ozzie, and am glad to hear that he won't have to go on IR. At this point as far as the Winter Classic I'd put Conklin in the net over Ozzie, Conklin has played great lately and is on a roll, might s well ride hime while he's hot.

The Hawks got alot of rave reviews on HNIC Saturday night for the way they have played like a house on fire the last month, I do see the two games with them as BIG games as far as the division is concerned. At least this year they can't say that the Wings play a weak division.

If they have to call up a goalie while Ozzie recovers, I'd rather see Larson than Howard.

Great game tonight! It's always fun to kick the s*** out of a opponent like the Wings did, Nice to see Conklin get the shutout. hope they can keep it up against LA Saturday night.

Bettman would be thrilled with that, I've heard him say on his radio show on XM that he likes the thought of lead changes and lots of them and big comebacks. How many of Philadelphia's goals were powerplay goals?

McGuirre says that about any team Detroit is playing, Not a bad game Wings seemed to pick it up in the third again, Hossa, Zetterberg and Cleary looked really good. Conklin played well tonight, would have been nice if he could have stopped the third goal but he looked solid.

bought my ticket for the Dec 23rd game against St.Louis, Section 107 Row 7, behind the penalty box. I can't wait! It'll be my second game I've seen at the Joe, first time was 2 years ago to see a exhibition game against Toronto.

Jeez, they are 18-4-4 and you guys rag on the goalies, If I recall it was Conklin that made some big saves last night to keep the game in reach when the defence looked brutal and couldn't get the puck out of our end in the second. And as the old saying goes don't let the next one in and after the WIngs fell behind 4-2 he didn't and looked pretty good in the shootout last night too. Ozzie will bounce back, goaltending will be a non issue once playoffs start.
