That was a amazing goal by Pavel, what a move he made on that goal.

Canada's last two games have been awesome to watch. If the Russians don't make the two mistakes in the last minute they win, If the Dman is standing up instead of on his knees he wacks the Tavares backhander twoards the net out of harms way. Anyone else notice on Tavares shootout goal that it hit the post and was rolling along the goalline when it went in off the goalies skate. I hope the final against Sweeden is just as entertaining as tonights game.

It was a great sucess, this Winter Classic was IMO the best one yet entertainment wise, The Venue was awesome and the "Throwback Jerseys looked nice. Ralfalski was being interviewed on CBC and was saying that maybe they should make the All Star Game the Winter Classic. -

I agree with Conklin starting as much as I would have loved to see Ozzie in there I wouldn't want to chance it with the groin in the outdoor conditions.

I don't get that move either, Sanford is better than Labarbera IMO, and unless Loungo is going to be out longer than everyone is saying than he'll be there to backup Sanford.

I'd say long term the Wings would be better off with Franzen over Hossa. Franzen won't cost as much as Hossa and as others have said that will still leave room for Hudler, I also wouldn't be against shopping Flip to help the cap space for next year.
