I think DeGraa55 is probably the best person to ask about that. He's the expert on hockey player's groins.

I apologize, I didn't know that you could see the future, Hockey-damus. Please share more of your visions of the future of hockey! Does the NHL adopt rocket skates and cyborg goalie technology?!?!

They already have...

I think Shero will trade Letang instead of letting Niskenen go.

You need to focus on one corner. I put my highest tile in the top right corner and build up and the right. The second highest tile should be directly to the left of the biggest, the third to the left of that. Make sure you always have the top row completely full of tiles. The biggest thing to remember is to not let a lower tile get into that top right corner, it makes the puzzle a nightmare to beat after that. Once you start attacking the puzzle this way, you can really start whipping the tiles around pretty quickly, I can generally finish the puzzle in under 15 minutes. The only time you need to slow down is near the end when the box gets pretty full. Good luck!

Its actually quite easy, I think everyone is over thinking it. I can tell you how its done if you want...
-
Did anyone else finish yet? Cause I just did. The 11th tile is Leonardo DiCaprio dancing in Wolf of Wall St. Pretty funny

I don't understand this comment. Please explain.

I don't understand what the big deal is. If a grown man wants to spend all his free time thinking up nicknames and line combinations for a bunch of kids that he's never met, that's his right. And I don't think there's anything creepy or sad about it at all. AT ALL. And I'm not being sarcastic. Not even a little. -
Wow Holland, totally pathetic.

I have a hard time seeing us getting Kesler and Edler for Weiss, Quincey, Andersson, and Almquist -

Discount Daable-Contract! -
Are they going to outlaw trading in the future? Because I think that would be a terrible idea

95% of the elite players on that list will re-sign with their current teams. Happens every year. The remaining 5% will get way overpaid on the free agent market. Thats the way it is now
-
Im not even pro-vanek as much as I am anti-lets-save-all-this-cap-space-until-the-perfect-situation-presents-itself. I've got a secret for you: There will never be a perfect situation. There will always be a knock on a guy, or he wants too much money, or holland will forget to turn on his fax machine or whatever. Nothing will ever be perfect, you have to take a chance at some point. Youll never get ahead in life if you play it safe 100% of the time.
-
Youll never be in a s***hole cap wise as long as you have tradeable assets. Thats our only issue this year (cap wise); zero tradable assets that were willing to part with.
-
Maybe we should buy out Datsyuk and Zetterberg and Alfredsson and Franzen and Weiss and Kronwall and Howard too just in case Crosby and Malkin and Stamkos and Tavares and Kane and Toews and Doughty and Weber and Karlsson and Rask become available! We wouldn't want to miss out on them! But only if they're willing to sign for league minimum, because it would be disrespectful to our next franchise captain who hasn't even been born yet to sign anyone to a higher salary than him!!!
-
Great plan
-
Well I guess im just a moron then. Please enlighten me as to what your master plan to return us to serious perennial cup contenders is...
-
We could sign 2 free agents to $8 million dollar contracts PLUS re-sign all of our rfas and we'd still be under the cap next year. For Christ sake, were more in danger of being a floor team next year than a ceiling team! This isn't letsgopreds.com!
-
I dont think so either. But I'd rather spend it on him then save it. f***, at the very least we'd have another asset, one that we didn't have to trade for. Maybe then in a couple years when mantha and jurco and Tatar and nyquist have come into their own, we could trade him for an elite franchise defenceman or something. I can't get over how important it is for you guys to save money THAT ISN'T YOURS! You dont have to write the check, so dont worry about it!
-
Whatever. This team is not a couple of secondary scorers or depth defensemen away from a stanley cup. We need an elite puck moving defenseman AND a classic goal scoring power forward. We dont have either of those in the system and we won't be able to sign one with a self-imposed player salary cap of 6ish million dollars.
-
You just said that holland should be fired if he signs any free agent to a contract higher than Datsyuk or Zetterberg's. A policy like that isn't going to get us the elite scoring winger that we need (vanek or anybody else)
-
If every 30 year old, 40 goal scoring forward that makes it to free agency gets 7 million for 7 years, then that is what the market dictates their value to be. The cap keeps going up year after year. Do you think that elite player salaries are going are going to decrease for no reason whatsoever? You want the Red Wings to return to their status of an elite club in the league, yet you dont want to pay elite free agents elite salaries to sign here. Ok. I guess we could make a trade for an elite player who is already signed. Oh, you dont want to give up the assets required to make it happen? Ok. I guess we could draft and develop our own elite prospects. Oh, you dont want to tank the season and be a bottom feeding cellar dweller for the next 5 years? Well then im all out of ideas, what do you suggest?
