I have Hossa, Kovalchuk, Franzen, Lehtonen, Booth, Toews, Seabrook, Cole, Wisniewski and Havlat. 6 guys on the IR, 2 day-to-day, 1 just coming off an injury, and Havlat, who you KNOW is going to miss significant time this year.

1) You can leave the country while on probation or parole as long as you have permission from your PO. I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult for him to get permission to leave with his major league sports team or to play for his country in the Olympics. 2) Just because he may be convicted of a felony does not automatically mean that he will receive prison time or that he will be a parolee.

I have a feeling that Hossa will win more Stanley Cups throughout his contract than Franzen will. That was very painful to type.

I didnt know that it was a competition. However, my team does have all 3 Hart trophy finalists, all 3 Pearson trophy finalists, 2 Selke trophy finalists, 2 Calder trophy finalists, a Vezina trophy finalist, the Richard trophy winner, the Art Ross trophy winner, the reigning Conn Smythe winner and the previous Conn Smythe winner, 2 Norris trophy winners, not to mention 15 Stanley Cup rings. My team scored 352 goals and 993 points in the regular season, and I have 6 of the top 10 scorers in the post season. I can count the number of players under 6' on one hand, and they all love to hit, fight, score, and win. Depth? I'm not too worried about it.

I've read through most of this thread, and from what I can remember you think that Lidstrom, Franzen, Samuelsson, Maltby, Holmstrom, and Kopecky are too soft, and I'm pretty sure you don't think too highly of Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Rafalski, Hudler, Filppula, Draper, Leino, Kronwall or Lebda, either. I gotta ask, who do you want on this team? Should we just trade the entire team and all of our prospects straight up for the Ducks? Wouldn't it just be easier for everyone involved if you just traded your Wings jersey instead?

Hossa played much better tonight, he was everywhere on the ice, and yes, he did tip in the first goal. Me = Very pleased

Im not buying this excuse. Ovechkin had 11 goals and 21 points in 14 games. You don't think he was drawing NY & Pittsburgh's best defensive units? Hossa and Datsyuk are in a slump. It happens. No need to make up excuses for them, they just need to do better.
