Oh yea, I forgot to ask. I've been wondering, who on the Wings gets their name on the Stanley Cup and gets Stanley Cup rings? For instance, Kronwall, who was a regular during the regular season but probably won't play in the playoffs, does he get it still? What about guys like Quincey, who played only occasionally during the regular season, but has played a couple playoff games, what about him? And now these guys who have been called up, some of whom haven't played at all during the regular season and most likely wont play a single playoff game, but are on the big club roster for the playoffs, do they get it? Let's see who's got the biggest hockey brain out there...

I don't know, that game pretty much made the playoffs for me. The only way it could have been better is if it was game 7 of the SCF. Holy crap, I've been watching the highlights ALL MORNING LONG!!! I'll admit that I was doubting near the end (who wouldn't being down 2-1 against the Sharks) but I never gave up, as evidenced by the fact that I didn't leave the sports bar during the final minute, even though it was full of Sharks fans! I think that was the best part, being in Sharks territory and being the only one cheering after it was all over! Everything after this is just icing on the cake for me, GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!

We would need to let Lang, Schneider and Calder walk. Then get Bertuzzi to take a small pay cut (an even 5 mil should be fair) The only upcoming UFA's are Maltby, Hudler, Kopecky, Markov, Chelios and Hasek. They would all need to be resigned for the same contracts, but none of those should be a problem. I know there are some other things to consider, like some 06-07 bonuses that affect the 07-08 cap, but all Im sayin is that it could work. Holland did say last year that the UFA market was going to be much deeper this year and the Wings would be making big moves. I'd like to see something major happen!

I've been watching San Jose pretty closely this post season and I was at game 4 in San Jose, and I didn't think Nashville gave Nabokov much of a reason to stand on his head. Unless he was bored.

According to TSn, he only missed 4 games due to his groin and those were in December and January and 5 games in March due to an abdominal injury. In any case, he was healthy for the playoffs and still rode the bench!
