For your information, I happen to find humor in many parts of life, and yes, sometimes poop is funny (go check out www.ratemypoo.com) No, beating up kids and spilling their pop is not funny and yes, I do have a girl who happens to enjoy my wacky brand of dick and fart jokes. What I meant by grow a sense of humor is that certain people around here need to ligthen up, not freak out every time someone says some form of the word "blow" and enjoy themselves from time to time. I'm not even too sure why anyone is getting bent out of shape. Is it that I like to get blown, or that I have the audacity to talk about it? Did I stumble onto a Christian Coalition forum by mistake?

I agree with that statement to a degree. It's not like the topic of this thread was thoughts on why god lets bad things happen to good people or something. By the time I said anything, it had regressed into discussing Dom banging 5 chicks in the back of a limo and the hottness of certain icehoes in the picture. I was simply adding my thoughts to the disscussion at hand.

I keep hearing that there are going to be a ton of really great UFA's available July 1st. Does anyone know who exactly will be UFA and likely to not resign with their current team? I've been hearing about this since last summer and no one has ever really thrown any names out.

Exactly what I have been thinking. As is, I think a seven game series with the preds would be pretty even, but not if they pick up Forsberg. If for no other reason, we may need to pick him up so the preds or ducks don't.

Unrealistic is trying to say that there are any players on this roster that are not tradeable, no matter what the return. Im not the first person to state this FACT in this thread, only the first to say it so bluntly. I can't think of a reason why Sid or Ovechkin would become available, but I can think of a few reasons why Z or Lids would (the reason being Sid or Ovie, or several others in this league, such as Heatley, Hossa, Lecavalier etc)

Yes, that is my point exactly. No one in this league is untouchable, except perhaps Ovechkin or Crosby. So then the title of this thread should have been "Which Wings are untouchable, unless the pens or caps come a callin" Your logic is flawed

I think the prudent thing to do would be to pick up Forsbrg and Bertuzzi, that way we'd go into the playoffs with three gimpy players for the hockey gods to choose from instead of just Hasek. Maybe if we offer up a sacrifice (lilja?) he'd let us get through June unscathed.

Actually, Nick decided to stay in Detroit for the same amount as he was making last year, even though it was widely speculated that he could have gotten the league max somewhere else. So no, I wouldn't call him greedy.

You know, it would be one thing if Bertuzzi and Moore were skating in the Ice Capades, but this happened while playing hockey, the only sport in North America where it is okay and commonplace for two people to start fighting (besides boxing and UFC) People have been killed in boxing matches and yea, it sucks, but people usually save their ire for the sport rather than the boxer who dealt the death blow. If you think that fighting should be removed from the sport of hockey entirely, thats your opinion, but your time would be better spent writing letters to the commishioner or your congressman, not high horse, holier-than-thou-art postings on a forum. Or maybe you should instead be writing checks to the Steve Moore foundation, since you're obviously such a great humanitarian. Has anyone here ever actually seen the bones that attach the human head to the body? They're frightenly puny. It's not a freak accident that what happened to Moore happened, it's more like a miracle that it doesnt happen more often. I'm fine with the current arrangement, and so are all players of aggressive contact sports. Moore was fine with it too until god decided to f*ck up his weekend, so he gets no sympathy from me.

When is the deadline? I can't wait to start seeing some trades, no matter which teams are involved.
