It just says "Later today", no time is given.
-
wow, that was my 1000th post :nonono:
-
well if that is true, then its already gone farther then I thought it would!
-
You shouldn't post this on here, the last thing we need is a bunch of people that call him up and say "huh, huh, U oughts ta sus-pen-d Puck Fronger for a hundred years! huh, huh, huh!" thats not what we need, they usually make these things so people who REALLY want them can find them.

ha ha ha, no one knows how to say his name

Did anyone here the guys on NHL On The Fly: Final try to say "Filpulla" last night? it was great
-
Wow! you Ducks fans in this topic have turned my preconceptions on Ducks fans upsidedown, Verry, Verry classy people, most of you thank you! As for Pronger, Should he be suspended? Yes, Will he be suspended No, I just cant see the NHL suspending such an impact player like Pronger in the Western Conference Finals, its just won't happen, and if by some miricale that it does,I will have gained more respect for Colin Campbell and the NHL. edit = capitlaizing the "D" in Ducks
-
What I think he ment by that is somthing that our local broadcaster (Mickey Redmond) says often: "If your coming in for the check and the guy is in a vulnerable position, no matter how much is on the line, no matter what the situation, you've got to give up the hit. Out of respect for the player and the game" Chris Pronger didn't do that...obviously...

I agree! I think the penaltys were a result of some nerves maybe, and like you said he needs his rhythm back too. C+ here as well.

Thats very cool, I wish stuff like that happened to me once in a while! And you better watch your girl around Quincey though! he is once handsome devil! Just kidding of course. Hope you didn't take too much crap from the Ducks fans!

Very, Very Classy post!

I'm a little undecided on this one, On the one hand, if you are as big of an impact player as Holmstrom is for the Wings then, in the playoffs, if you can play, you should play. On the other hand however, I think that Homer coming back out in the third will have an effect on the suspensions handed out, I, PERSONALLY, would be surprised if anyone got suspended. But I'm not sure that I would be very proud of Homer or the Wings if they just benched Homer to try to get some suspensions and pride is a very big thing with me as far as the Wings are concerned. So I guess that it is probably better that he came back out and played, it also shows the Ducks that, its going to take alot more then that to get Homer to leave!

Come on guys, we know the NHL, There is no way Pronger is getting suspended, we will be be lucky if Niedermayer even gets suspended IMO! Had Holmstrom not come back in the third then there might be a chance, but the way the NHL is, it is usually the severity of the injury that causes the suspensions, not necessarily the act committed. I think that both Niedermayer AND Pronger should be suspended but being that it is game 4 of the WCFs I doubt anything will happen. there WILL be some punishment handed out though, out on the ice, On the boards and the Scoreboard in games 4 and 5

Alright, I need to vent a little, and I don't like starting new topics unless I'm sure that they are worth starting so I figure that this place is as good as any! . At 6:23PM (est) I made this comment in the GDT: I then read a couple of posts until about 6:30 when I went to watch The Simpsons, the sky blue as could be, after sitting through about 8 minuets of my local weather man telling me that it was going to rain I finally got to watch the rest of the show. The show got over and it had started to darken up outside and the wind picked up too and at almost 7:00PM exactly, BOOM! the power goes out. I figured three hours until game time, yeah that ought to be enough time to get this back online, no problem, NOPE...WRONG, 8:56PM rolls around still no power and I'm starting to weigh my options, being part of the new fangled high tech generation I have NO radios in my house that work with batteries :nonono: I'm only 18 so I'm not sure if they would let me in the bar being it such a late game or even if the local bars have power or cable so I'm a little apprehensive about doing that, I call up my Brother in law (who lives less then two mins away) and sure enough, he has power...BUT HIS CABLE IS OUT! so by now, its probably 9:10 just about the time the game starts I figure, so I finally face my fate, I run out, IN MY ZETTERBERG JERSEY, in the pouring rain to my car, I flip on the Accessories and tilt back the seat and tune in to 97.1 ( the Detroit station I assume?) I live near Lansing so to call the quality of the broadcast "bad" would probably be an overstatement, So I listened to the first period like this: "Chr...Pronger...Shot...........Holmstrom...SCORRREEES!" So I have absolutely no idea what is going on I figured the way my luck was going that day that the Wings were down 2-0 after the first, So during the intermission I go inside to make a sandwich, and I finally get some good news, my brother in law calls up and says "Cables back on and the game is on at my place!" so I finish eating my sandwich, and drive over there to watch the rest of the game and needless to say that I was presently surprised to find out that it was the Wings that were up 2-0! and the rest is Histroy! I get back to my house after the game and still no power! it didn't actually come back on until about 12:00AM Sorry about the long post, but I haven't been able to talk to anyone all day

nah, sounds too much like a**hole
-
I hope that this storm doesen't interfear with watching the hockey game, if it does, I"ll be VERY ANGRY!
-
He kinda looks like a mix between Holmstrom and Hasek to me!
-
I just hope he doesn't push himself too hard, and hurt himself...again.
