I agree with most of what you said, except for number 5, I think that the players status should be irrelevant, I don't care if it was the guy just called up from the minors for his first NHL game or the guy that leads the league in scoring, you CANNOT take your stick and make a two handed slash with it! This action should be unacceptable regardless of status. You cannot have people running around out there injuring people, possibly ending a career, and getting away with it just because they are a NHL star. The consequences should be equal for every player in the NHL with exception given to severe injures (i.e. consequences should be more if they injure someone severely)

The Devils played some excellent hockey in the third, every time Tampa touched the puck in the offensive zone they had them pinned up against the boards. New Jersey deserved to win that game.

The only reason I wouldn't put Z on the point is because I'm not sure that he is in the condition required to skate back to play the D fast enough, No doubt in my mind he could do it at 100% but he isn't quite there yet. What about putting Bertuzzi back on the point? seems to me he used to have a pretty good blast and I guess Lebda might do well back there who knows? those would be the two things I would try. But, you wont score if you don't shoot and you can't shoot if your not playing so I like the idea of putting Z out there on the PP just a little hesitant after he missed so many games.

Well, I consider myself a "fan", I pointed out after the first loss at the Saddledome that we could lose every game at Calgary as long as we won at the Joe and still come out ahead. But getting first seed, almost winning the presidents trophy, we have done that for the past few years and still have got bounced in the first or second round...its like working for your paycheck and then never cashing it, almost worthless if you cant finish it off, but never the less I still feel that we can win in Calgary and advance to the second round. GO WINGS!!!

He got hit pretty hard, like ocalafloridawingzfan said, Bertuzzi played a shift or two after he ran over Osgood. Just because he played again that game doesn't mean that he will be cleared to play tonight. He also got up and kinda half skated around right after he got hit...but he obviously wasn't fine. I would be pretty surprised too if he played, the way he couldn't keep his footing after he got back up from the hit looked pretty like a bad sign to me.
