I don't think that his concussion was really that bad, he probably could have played in game one, just didn't have clearence, I think after being out as long as he was letting him sit is the worst thing we could do. IMO anyways

When you have a team of 1/2 veterans, any rest time you can get is good IMO...Espically in the playoffs!

people on this board post topics about what is happening in the NHL, if the Boston Bruins were running around trying to hurt people every game there would be just as many topics about them, it just happens to be the Nashivlle Pedators right now, to have a rivalry in the traditional sense you need to have two teams that are equaly good and that BEAT EACH OTHER often. maybe in a couple years Nashville might be up to the task of starting a real rivalry but until then...

Not really a surprise, just another example of the NHL basing punishment on the injury recived, Chechoo played in game 2 so no suspension. i'm not saying that its fair or right, thats just how it is unfortunetly

Unfortunetly there are seniority issues at hand, Flip and Rex are they young guys on the team and that makes them low man on the totem pole. thats why won't see Bertuzzi as a healthy scratch anytime soon, also, If you ask me Bertuzzi was made for this type of series, the hard hitting physical type, and its only going to get more physical from here on out Filp and Rex are very talented forwards no doubt but the fact is they wont respond well to a very hard hitting game...not as well as Bertuzzi anyways, Not only that but we traded for Bertuzzi so we could use him in the Playoffs to give us that extra edge we needed to go all the way it wouldnt make much sense to just sit him out just to use what worked in game one.

I'm not sure how much of a hockey fan you are but if you watched the finals last year between Edmonton and Carolina and you probably saw Doug Weight get his shoulder seperated when he got sandwiched in between two Oilers, the hit Radulov put on last night looked almost identicial to it other then the fact that it was on the opposite side of the ice. Edit=spelling

It was crazy when Konstantinov got in that crash, almost everyone was upset about it, I remember the day after it happend it seemed like everyone I ran into was just crushed...it was nuts, and then they came back and won the cup the next year, very emotional
