I like the dark jerseys too, and i'm glad you posted this, wingschamps, because I just got paid the other day and i'm in the market for my first real Red Wings Jersey and I wansn't sure what one they would wear at home...i'm glad it is the dark ones :carrot:

I don't know about that...most of the non-Detroit hockey I watch is on Versus and Versus semmingly shows mostly NYR games and i've seen Avery take alot of dumb peneltys this year, mabye not as many as he did the last couple years but still...

Do you really think Dom is better now then in 02? I'm not so sure, on last Saturdays Red Wings Weekly they showed highlights of the 02 playoffs I was amazed how Hasek looked on some of those plays, now granted those were highlights but I think that Dom lets in some weaker goals now...more so then in 2002, the CBJ goal from Sunday comes to mind for me -
I bet it all depends on what security guard you run into at the gate...some of them are really cool and I bet would let you bring in a octopus into JLA but then there are others (probably more of them) that wouldent let you, and I would bet that those trash cans at the door have seen more then one octopi in there days... (i'm just guessing i've never done or seen it done) ...yeah, i'm an idot, I guess thats what I get for not reading the entire thread

I don't miss him either, he takes too many peneltys, plus the refs hate him and seem to single him out He has 50 goals and 83 assists and 907 PIM in 319 games so its not like he is a driving offensive force the other night was just a fluke

It sounds like a dumb move to me...firing your coach 3 games before the playoffs, but we'll just have to wait and see what happens! if the Devils win the cup this year everybody will be celebrating Lamiorello's genuis...and if they don't everybody will call him an idot, but anything can happen in the Playoffs!
