He did almost have his nose cut off last year, I don't remember how much time he missed with that though.

Yes, I believe I have seen those before. I may have even had some...but I do not recall.

and I probably didn't help with my pie comments.

How about that play near the end, putting Doan at center ice on the PK and getting him the break out feed? Pretty tricky...almost worked too, Big ups to Wayne for thinking up that one. Big-er ups for Osgood making the save!

Hossa will probably be traded if Atlanta falls out of playoff contention, Atlanta will probably fall out of playoff contention with Kovalchuk out of the lineup for any length of time. I think this will increase the chances of Hossa being traded.

Yes, Yes they did.

Did they fix the time problem?

This is too bad, I hope it isn't anything too serious and he is able to make it back soon. I'd like to see Ericsson play a game or two as well, just to see what he's got. But I'm pretty sure they'll call up Quincey. This may force Holland's hand at the TD, depending on how long Kronner will be out.

Its probably been quite a while (if ever) that we've had a two page GDT on here

Ivanans just signed a two year extention with the Kings yesterday. TSN

What sense would that make, If the Wings are looking for a depth player for the playoffs it wouldn't do them much good to pick him up after the playoffs are over. Maybe I missed your point here? There is always a chance that the players you give up could come back to bite you, after all, you did have them on your team for a reason. But that is the nature of the beast, you've got to give to get thats why they call it a trade. But what is the difference between giving Nashville players/picks for Dumont and giving Columbus players/picks for Fedorov? Both teams are in the Central Division. Both players are UFA's at seasons end, as of now. We could get a player that has been hot lately and has scored 42 points in 50 games (Dumont). Or we could go the nostalgia route and pick up good 'ole Feds who, as of Feb 23 is on IR, has 27 points in 46 games, has a much higher salary and is nine years older. For not really all that much more.

and the Wings just had some reps there didn't they?

Just a sixth round pick Link

I'm suprised there isnt much talk about J.P Dumont, 6' 1" 205LB Right Winger with a $2.5M salary and 42pts on the season seems like a pretty good deal. Nashville might be willing to move him if they can't get him signed by the 26th however its a bit of a long shot. It might be hard to get Nashville to trade him to a team in their division but, stranger things have happend. Wonder what the price would be for a guy like that ?
