I dont see how he is a disappointment. Hes taken a team that if you go by skill is a middle of the pack team and they finished right in the middle of the pack. I said the same thing in the GDT but Mrazek is the golden boy of the board right now. First was real bad. 2nd he overplayed. Third he was out to far on what he thought was gonna be a shot and had to go to far to try and cover it leaving no chance to get to the deflection. If Howard was in net and made the same saves and allowed the same goals all this thread would be full of is how Howard cant make the big save and is poor going side to side.

They move it around and force something to open up and if theirs not something within 1-2 seconds they pass it or shoot. The only word I can find to describe Detroits PP is lazy. Dats didnt look bad but he needs to produce. Its a shame his teammates played gutless hockey the first 39 minutes in his last home game.

If TB was at full strength I would agree but with the guys they have out/banged up I feel they are ripe for the pickings. Detroit has to play perfect though to pull it off and that will be the problem. This team rarely is consistently good.

Getting past TB would be huge as both NYI and Florida dont impress me.

Hes not a heavyweight in the least but I base it mostly on the fact that Abs himself is a worse fighter. Add in the size and reach difference and Abs would have been tossed like a rag doll.

What makes you think you will get Mrazek at his best? The recent past says you wont. This board loves to jump on whoever is in net when the real problem is the 5 guys in front of him. Lol everyone blames Howard when he did his job taking the shooter. The other 4 Wings standing around letting one TB payer tap it in get a free pass. This place is unbearable sometimes.
