I for one would be extremely pumped to see him back. I don't see why it would be so bad to have him play with GR for a trial. They'd easily be able to tell if he's still got it.

I am not a big fan of the Oilers, but you can't help but feel a little sorry for this team. Besides the flukey year they beat us, there hasn't been a whole lot to of good for the Oilers.

Maybe we cannot agree on whether it should Ozzie or Lids. The one thing I think we can agree on is that it's a damn good problem to have two potential MVP's. You could make strong arguements for my personal fav Dats or even Hank. Those 4 are brilliant.

IMO Ozzie has been the best goalie in the league this year, so it's not like I am a hater. I'm just saying we haven't had a chance (thank God) to see how having Nick out of the lineup would effect our two headed monster Dom and Ozzie. Nick plays on average a little over 27 minutes a game, so pretty much half the game. You take away his kind of skill, we suffer on D (obviously) and on PP/PK's. Maybe I am giving too much credit to Nicky, but I don't think Ozzie or Dom (at least lately) would have as much success without him.

Agreed. Ozzie has been a badass, but I think our team would still be top 3 in the West. Lidstrom makes it a lot easier on Dom/Ozzie when he's on the ice.

Bust your Wings gear out!!! I went to the Avs/Wings game last Thursday and you wouldn't believe how much support the Wings had in Colorado..... There are Wings fans are everywhere! PS - I hope ND means North Dakota.

I think it gave a higher chance to get the win, but both teams have the same opportunity. Whether or not it cheapens the win is up to the person. Personally, I don't really think it does. But then again, I hated ties and always wanted to see a victor. However I wouldn't like to see a rise in PP goals due to ther PK being exhausted. Also, I'm not quite sure how the two subjects correlate together.

I think it is hilarious when opposing fans are like "Red Wings suck!". It's like we're the first place team by like 3 games(if the Sens win their 2 games to get to 41). So if we "suck" that must mean the other 29 teams in the league are so pathetic. But then I just assume they don't know crap about hockey.

I don't disagree with you because that is a huge blow for them... But Sakic hasn't really played and Smyth only had a 11 goals through 36 games. So it's not like they were reliant on their scoring this season. They will miss their leadership though, but I think Brunette would be able to step it up. I think as long as people like Stastny continue to be a beast, they'll be alright. Their whole division to me seems to be very streaky. A week ago the Avs were 3rd in the West and now they're near the cellar. I could be wrong though...

I couldn't really afford the NHL ticket this year, so I'm thrilled to see Wings games on VS or NHL Network. But I definitely would rather hear Daniels and Redmond doing the game.

I just got back from the game. I love my state, but some of the Avs fans were just complete idiots. You could always here some drunk guy that would say "Red Wings suck!!!!!!!". Needless to say, it was rather annoying. Although I loved hearing the lets go Red Wings chant during the game. Definitely glad I went tonight. Crymson, I was curious. Do you know of any Red Wings bars around here? I mean the following here is pretty decent, so I figured there might be a bar or two that I didn't know about.

Hate to say it, but the game could be postponed tonight. It's snowing pretty good here and it's not suppose to stop till midnight. I'm not sure how bad it has to be before the cancel the game tonight, but it could happen. I hope not though cause I already got this day off from work and it would suck if I had to get another.

Yeah dude, I spent about 40 per ticket due to the ticket broker. It is such a bummer Hank and Homer wont be playing... Regardless, I'll be cheering my heart out tomorrow. Go Wings.
