People on this site are usually pretty good about treating/respecting opposing fans well on this site. I think it's good to have a diverse fan base to hear from. I mean if there are Duck fans on here... Why not Avs fans?

Yeah, I agree Ozzie is playing better. But Dom lately has been playing better to some degree. His last 6 games he's 5-0-1 although I'd like is gaa to be better. I think what I was trying to say more than anything would be that Wings fans should support whoever is in net because you're not going to see a 75-25% ratio between the two

It appears our Wings Lidstrom, Datsyuk and Zetterberg are 1,2 and 3 in allstar votes. Lidstrom is number one overall and Dats and Hank are the top two forwards. They both had 200,000 + votes which was about 30,000 more than the third place. Nick had an astounding 100,000 more votes than the next. Here's the full article. Article

I was very glad to hear Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond tonight on nhl network. I usually don't get to hear the commentary too much, it was quite nice

The one thing that does bother me kinda is the fact that Hasek is 3rd on that list. I'm a huge Dom fan, but where the hell is Ozzie........ 15-1-1 speaks for it self.

I think it does make the most sense playing the two the way they are. The Kings through this part of the season are in last place in their division. Whereas the Blues are second in ours and 8 points above the Kings. Just makes sense having your best goalie playing the best team.

What's next for this guy? Happy Gilmore took his skate off and tried to cut a guy with them. Could that be next for Simon?

I'm just glad it's on NHL network tomorrow so i'll be able to watch it at work. The only problem with that is if something bad or good happens, I tend to be too emotional and end up scaring the customers.

Lids is off limits, huh? I think that'd be more of a reason to get him.

I don't think anyone would argue that Lids doesn't have the legs that he did when he was in his 20's, but still... The man is playing about as well as he did in his best years (at least statistically). If he continued to play the way he has been the first 33 games Lids would end up with 7 goals and 64 assists. He's on pace to be a +44 player which would be a new record for him. Lastly, he'd end up with 40 PIM's which would be better than he has had the last 2 years. Not his best season ever, but that is still an incredible level of play

I wouldn't really want to mess with ZDH line. They all thrive off eachother as last night showed.

I think there should be a month of celebration of Lidstrom or maybe even a holiday.

When Nick does decide to hang em up has there been any talk about him taking a job somewhere in Wings organization? I could be wrong, but I think Nick could find some sweet talent in Sweden.

Can't be more pleased with Lids and Rafalski. +17 for Lids and +9 for Rafalski and they're both tied for 2nd is points as a defensemen. That's getting it done on both sides of the game.

I'm not saying I want this to happen because I like Dom.... But he's old and seems to be more prone to injuries. So Ozzie could end up playing more than expected if Dom is out for extended period of time.
