Was anyone else kinda suprised that Babs said Pavel is the best player in the game right now? Don't get me wrong, Datsyuk is my favorite player and I think he's incredible. I'm just not sure about the best though.

If we lose I just hope it's not a average team with a goalie that's playing out of his mind. I hate when we lose like 2-1 and we've out shot the team by like 20 shots.

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find this Gordie Howe commercial. There's this guy from ESPN trying do some work and Gordie keeps on bothering him about all the different things he'd do to players in a game if they acted up. He does stuff like poking him in the chest or punching the guy. He also gives him a stick to the throat. It's pretty hilarious, but I can't seem to find it on youtube or any place like that.

Yeah, I don't think I was so suprised Clemens did them. I'm just saying I'm suprised that they'd get a name like on that list. Clemens before this list would have gone down as one of the greatest of all time (not saying he still wont, but I don't know how this whole ordeal would effect it). Not only that, but he was beloved by baseball. It wasn't like he was a Barry Bonds in the eye of the analysts or the fans. I guess I'm just suprised they'd catch him.

The fact that the Wild aren't that good (maybe 6-8 seed my guess) and play a boring stlye like the trap is a credit to the fans.

If their support is that high for teams that aren't that good, that's a credit to the fans. That's pretty respectable.

I don't know if what i'm about to say goes along with the topic, but i'll try to make it. The Wild are being dubbed hockeytown by some person or people. They might be filling more seats in Minn., but if you take to account all of us Wings fan around the nation, I bet with visiting attendance of arenas we out number the Wild by far. So if they want to be called hockeytown then I suggest we call ourselves Hockeynation. As far as that goes, I can only go to two games a year(w/o traveling). But I am going to the game on Dec 27th against the Avs. I can't freaking wait. I hope I can get a LETS GO RED WINGS chant going.

Poor Maltby, back issues suck sooo bad. You just never know when it's going to heal. Plus, you can always re-aggravate it while trying to heal.

Yeah, I agree totally with that. I'm a Wings fan, I'm thrilled that Ozzie has been playing well. I'm also glad that Hasek has let 1 goal in in his last 2 games. I was under the impression that you cheer for the guy with the winged wheel that's in the net.
