Although I think Bert's play has been a bit poor at times. I was very thrilled to see him after Nick scored that goal last night. He was the first to congratulate him, I think. But if not, he still showed a lot of team comradery. It was really good to see him happy, kinda makes it seem like he's feeling like more than a rental, ya know?

I don't see why Calder is getting dumped on so much. As much as I want Bert to succeed, he's not really much better. Calder may be playing awful, but I am more confident he is giving it his all. Bert on the other hand, i just don't know

I just pray that Babcock or anyone else entwined with the Wings orginzation is raising hell right now. I want to see some controversy here. I don't want the NHL to try to push it under the carpet. I want to know how there are several people on this site who know the rules (ie 78a)... yet a professional officiating crew can't seem to get it.

I wish it were that easy. The pushin goal was the knife entering the skin. The overtime lose was the knife being twisted around and then yanked out. Not to take anything away from you Duckies, but I just can't move on quite yet. Now, we win game 3, i'll be fine!

If you think the NHL is bad, you need to tune into the NBA. The refs arguably stole game 2 from the Wings/Sabres. The NBA refs do that on a regularly. Idk how Piston fans feel. But being a Nugget fan. you can tell that Stern has mad it clear who he wants the refs to support

I feel really bad for the guy. If we do indeed win the cup, that kinda sucks for him. I mean he'll get credited with being on the team, but I'm sure he'd kill to be on the ice to win it, ya know?

Dude, you're obviously not very bright. The Wings have been getting a lot of penalties called on us. We've had like 5 or 6 five on threes this playoffs. Also, I guess you guys should cut everyone on the Sharks besides Thorton because he's the only player that wins or loses a game in your eyes

They did indeed. I remember last night when we were on a powerplay and they had too many men on the ice. Sure, it should have been a 5-3 for us, but it didn't happen. Also, there is no way you can be perfect on the calls. At least it's not like the NBA refs where their whole basis on fouls are based on how popular or good you are. ie spurs... I am just thankful that the nhl isn't anywhere near the pathetic calls of the nba.

I agree. I think it was funny though that after the collision that Perry was the one that got the worst of it. I don't see how hitting a guy in the back of the head is very fair, but to act like you got it worse than him is rediculous. btw, Colorado Wings fans all the way!

Man, Pavel is my favorite player, but.... Yeah yeah, he's has't shown up all that much in the playoffs. That's crap! look, he isn't a goal first player, but he has gotten the job done. I swear, some of you fans that hate Pavel is dumb ! He is a pass first guy that has so many moves. I find it amusing how Hank is excused at times, but news flash, Pavel has played great this year. I don't care how many people hate him. he's been great!

Dude, this is ludacris.... He is certainly the best defensive player I've ever seen. I'm only 20, but he is the equivalent to perfect as a hockey player can get. Thorton is playing really well, but Nick is amazing. I think this may be the best defensive player maybe ever

that's a shame. Cleary has been very big for us this year. Not to take anything away from Clowe, i'm sure he's a decent player. But w/o Cleary, it's hard to imagine we'd be this far

But you also gotta think that the Wings are one of the most popular teams for visiting attendance. Nationally in the US, I bet Detroit is one of the most liked teams in America if not the most. So where they may not fill the seata as much, they're still supported just as much
