Absolutely. My brother has a buddy from Edmonton (which he's a little slow - no joke) and he always goes against the team everyone wants to win. It gets so annoying. Then since the Oil aren't in he of course goes for Calgary because they're Alberta's finest, i guess. Needless to say, I'm so happy that there's no Alberta teams left because a lot of their fans annoy the crap out of me

Trust me. The officiating is so much better in hockey than it is the NBA. At least the refs here try to make the right calls when they see them. The NBA sees a superstar and automatically calls it on the guy that's covering him. They are so much worse

I agree with you, but who knows. We did well against Calgary with our physical play. Maybe we can knock off a few heads in Thorton and Cheechoo.

Definitely. I don't mean to call all Flames fans idiots. There are Wings fans who are idiots too.But fighting over this series in itself is pointless. I'd just ignore those posts if they get to you. Same with the Flames posts that may get to me. Arguing over it doesn't accomplish anything, so very pointless

The Flames are the Oakland Raiders of hockey. They get beat in play so they try to hurt players. I wouldn't even waste responding to idiot flames fans who try to justify the actions last night. They're not bright enough to know right from wrong, so arguing with them is like ramming your head into a brickwall.... pointless

I kinda agree with you. But I think Sammy was playing a lot better in game 3 then he was in 1/2. He seemed to me a few times he was skating right through Calgary's center. Although he didn't score, it just kinda seemed like he had a little more spunk in 3. It could just be me that thinks that though

I've never heard them boo a player like Joe Sakic or Naslund. I mean I know Joe doesn't have the hitting that Bert has, but they still "punish" in the sense of scoring. Don't you think a lot has to do with the incident with Bert and Moore is al I'm saying

I find it amusing everytime Bertuzzi was on the ice, they booed him.Being from Colorado/surrounded by Avs fans, the majority I've talked to hate the Flames. So, I ask why in the hell do they act like Bertuzzi did something so terrible to them? I can only think Flames fans are a bit slow

Absolutely. This may be kinda broad statement.... But Canadians are very passionate about their hockey, so I'd only expect them very intense and loud for game 3. I think it'll be very important for us to start out like we've done for game 1/2. We score 1 if not 2 early. That takes a lot of the wind out of the Calgary and their fans. On the otherside though, we score 2 early, we may go on auto like it kinda seemed like we did in period 2 last game. I don't want them to let up until it's game over. I believe we go up 3-0, very rare that Calgary would be able to come back

I just want to gloat a little. For all the Datsyuk and Schneids haters, to this point they've been playing pretty awesome. Couldn't imagine the series without them.

Um, we pretty much dominated the Preds this season. I guess you didn't take the time to look we're 6-1-1 with them this year. Obviously you're a widdle upset we've outscored you 7-2 and are up 2-0 so I can understand you're comments are just frustration.

fair enough, idk why i got so offended by the altitude comment. I like watching Nugs games on there, but I always joke with my friends about how unprofessional the show can be. I think sometimes it is funny though

I have to watch a bunch of games at my work/home (not my choice), But anyways, I admit they'll celebrate or whatnot when they score, but they're not clueless when it comes to hockey BTW it was only a point difference between the two. I guess you don't know how to add though

I'm about as passionate as it gets about sports, but I don't agree with that comment at all. The Kamensky/Draper incidents are disgusting and should have no place in hockey. Wishing to see people get severly hurt is wrong.

I got it! He said Datsyuk had no chance to sign back to light a fire under him motivating him to sign. He did the same thing with NY. He knows we've had troubles with Calgary, so he's trying to light a fire under our ass........ probably not, but it's the only way in my mind to like Hull anymore.

Yeah, I agree. I just would like to see some loyalty from him or something. I mean he did win a cup with us. Maybe not even loyalty, but at least stop bagging on us all the time.

What's the deal with Hull? There's no chance we'll sign Datsyuk.... There's no chance we'll win against the Flames.... For him being with the Wings for a decent ammount, he does like to dump on us. What's his problem?

The Avs aren't a team that will be going down the tubes. The team had their best hockey at the end of the year. They'll be fine. Budaj is looking like a goaltender they can form a team around. Guys, this team doesn't need a Forsberg.... They've scored more goals than ANYBODY in the West this year(besides NSH, they're tied at 272).... They need defensive players. They've lost Foote and Blake and have not replaced them. Get them defense and they'll be fine. Scoring is not the problem

Think positve. Lilja is going to knock some flames head's off. I really hope we can find it in us to beat the living crap out of them.... or at least not be submissive to rough style of play and give it back a little
