That's fine, I don't care how it happened or any of that crap. I was responding to the fact that Young Gun was saying Bertuzzi made one mistake and did something dirty, but the fact is Bertuzzi isn't a clean player. That's ALL I was pointing out.

I don't know what player you've been watching, but Bertuzzi has and will never get the Lady Bing trophy. Call the Moore hit accidental if you want, but the guy doesn't play the cleanest game. Exaggerate your point , but to say that the Moore hit was the only thing Bertuzzi has done wrong in his time in the NHL is just a flat lie.

I agree, I don't like the man for what he did to Moore (no i'm not a Avs fan).I accept you guys can disagree, but the reason I don't want him is that he was injured and hasn't had the kind of year most of you expect out of him in about 3 years now. We'd be giving up a lot to get him and what happens if we end up with a bruiser, but not goal scoring?

Are you kidding me? Drinking and driving while killing someone will get you jailed. Heatley didn't serve any jail time because he's a huge star and stars don't go to jail. Drinking and driving alone gets you jailed

People need to take actions for what they've done. Accident or not, you have to take responsibility. You can't just ignore the situation because it was accidental. Do you guys disagree with that?

No, my point is that Bertuzzi could have just as easily killed Moore. Doesn't that mean anything to any of you. People are charged with crimes. It does matter if they meant to do it or if they didn't mean to do it. BUT they are still charged. A man could have been killed and most of you just say "he didn't mean to do it, doesn't matter"

Now don't go too overboard on this, but you do realize that broken necks can relate to getting killed, right? This may be a little over some peoples heads but there was a wrestler named Owen Hart and he fell and broke his neck and was killed.

Is it just me or is anyone getting impatient about the Wings making a move. I know there's 9 days left, but still...We've already seen the Preds bulk up with Forsberg, I think Guerin is great, but the Blues hate us and would want a lot for him. Marty Lapointe kinda sucks, I don't see him being on our 1st two lines. I know this may be a dream, but I'd love us to try get Sundin. The Leafs are like 7th in the East, but they have to face the fact they have no chance. He would fit very well in our lineup, very well. If we don't hurry up, all the top tradeblock players will be on other teams

He did more than just "tackle" him. He had his hand on Moore's head and drug him into the ice. I don't know what Burtuzzi was trying to accomplish, but that broken neck seemed pretty intentional to me. I mean you could say all this about "ifs and buts" It doesn't matter.. Burtuzzi hit somebody from behind, then slammed his head to the ground as he appeared to be knocked out. That cameraman was aware Rogers didn't want to be filmed. It wasn't like the cameraman accidently filmed and got mauled. I don't see how you can't see the difference

That's absurd. It's commical that you claim that the camera man was "assulted" and Moore was only "suckerpunched". There's a huge difference. One man is going to be able to walk and have a normal life whereas the other man is pretty much handicaped and will never live a normal life. You're right, everyone of those athletes have had rage, but if you ignore the result than why not ignore the rage too.

Burtuzzi ended a man's hockey career on his "mistake". I'm not exactly sure what Moore's condition is right now, but it isn't good. You can't really compare Cheli/Rogers to him. Cheli was dirty and crazy when he was younger, but did he ever end someone's career, especially the way burtuzzi did? And Rogers with that camera man? I guarentee that camera man got a very decent compensation for being thrown to the ground and probably was happy it happened. None of the players you named did anything close to what Burtuzzi did.

It sounds like to me everyone just expects Burtuzzi to be great. He has only scored 30 goals twice and hasn't done it in 3 years now. He had two great seasons with the Canucks. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't he on a line with Naslund and Morrison? That is one heck of a line. Don't be so quick dump our players when we don't know what we're getting

That's a pretty big slip. No matter what he does or how well he plays, he's always going to be known for hitting Steve Moore from behind and dragging his head onto the ice. It may not be fair, but that's what he's known for. That's what I meant by headcase

I'm sorry, I was "that guy". I am new to the site and didn't realize there were so many of the same posts. I learned my lesson, I don't know what else I can really say besides to apologize and not have it happen again

I understand he's only played 7 games with Florida and there's not much to judge from. Call me conservative, but he's been known a headcase in the past and has shown signs of being unstable. But yes, I agree. There is much reward if he can become the player who scores like 45-50 goals a year

Burtuzzi hasn't been good in 3 years now. You kinda have to wonder if the whole Steve Moore thing got to him mentally.

I've been posting a lot on this subject, but anyways... The Wings are better for the fact we have a good 5 on 5 defense. Our PK needs to improve and it has gotten better since the beginning. A good defense has proven and will prove again that it stops a good offense no matter what. That pretty much a gimme in any sport.
