For hockey, I'm sure TSN is the way to go. Especially because NHL seems to be the whipping boy for ESPN. For every other sport, I go to ESPN.

I agree with everything you just said. Sakic is one of the few Avs that I like and respect. On the topic of the rivalry, I thought yesterday could be the spark that starts up the rivalry again, but only if we do face them in the playoffs. I really hope it happens too because that way the Wings could be 8-0 against the Avs. -

I liked Drake last game. Seemed to bring a more physical presence, especially compared to some of the other Wings.

Turco played very well today, but to be honest, I don't think he's been overly spectacular this season.

The only upside I see from this game is that Howard has played very solid. Especially because it's his first game starting in forever and the Wings have been kinda screwing him at times.

God, I better try to find some tickets for that game. Couldn't ask for more than a 4/4 series with the Avs, especially if I was at both road games for the Wings.

Does anyone know where I can find this picture of Gordie Howe talking with Gretzky before a game? It's a pretty funny photo because both of their noses are identical. It was on the forum before, but it must of got deleted, I think. The date of the photo was around the last time the Wings played the Coyotes. Thanks for the help!

I vaguely remember someone on here saying something about how Forsberg really doesn't have any Swedish friends on the Wings, but I'm not sure who. I agree with you though. I just figure that a person like Nick and Forsberg would have about the same ties as Forsberg and Naslund. I'd think the same could be said for Lidstrom and Naslund. Oh well, Forsberg's loss for not wanting to join the best team in the league.

I want to know why in the hell this guy crosses the Wings off the list because of the OLD rivalry, yet he considers to sign with the Canucks.... I have news for the Swede, the Avs don't really care about the rivalry with the Wings anymore. I think he'd be more of a traitor if he signed with the Canucks (although I doubt he will) than if he signed with the Wings. I'm pretty sure majority of the Colorado fans would say the same too.

Ryan Shannon scored a sweet goal on Khabibulin. My favorite part is Khabibulin punching Shannon after the goal and Shannon taunts him with a scream.

I remember in high school on the day of the deadline I'd hit up the library like 30 times to see if any trades had happened. It's kinda like Christmas.
