I don't know what the Kings were asking before the injury, but I'm sure it can't be the same anymore. If we can get him cheap, I don't see why we don't try to get him. Minimal risk if we can get him cheap and high pay out if he can still play. If his salary is too high, that could be a problem if we did trade for him and he didn't pan out.

So you think your Pistons are going to make the playoffs? j/k, they had that division wrapped up even before the season started. Hope Kroenke will do the same if my Nugs make it in.

I don't know about the whole two top 6 goalies. I don't want to take any credit away from the two goalies, but I think a good portion of the reason why Dom and Ozzie are playing so stellar is because of Nick. When you have the best defensemen playing half the game, it's to the advantage of Dom and Ozzie.

Yeah, that's true. I don't know what VS shows in other parts of the country. I just know in Colorado they show crap like bull riding, bad fights or hunting. All of which I find to be horrible programming. -
I'm pretty skeptical that he'll only be out 3 weeks. I hear broken and that scares me. Just seems like something that could last longer than that.

As a fan I'd like to see hockey games on their at least double. The logic they have is give them less so they'll watch it more when they get it. But don't you think that VS would get better ratings showing hockey games rather than the shows they have on VS typically Wed-Sun. Maybe I'm selling VS short, but I don't think VS brings in too good of ratings. I know if it weren't for hockey, I'd rarely watch it. -
Yeah, I agree with you. I didn't really with take into account that the Sens have had injuries, especially to their top line. I think I just categorized them together because those two teams scare me the most out of the NHL.

I'm just curious why we'd put up Kronner if the Wings are alreadying looking to improve their D's physicality. I'm not saying Kronwall is like our Chara or something, but he can lay out some pretty sweet hits. We already lack in being physical, so I don't think it'd help if we got rid of him.

If Mac comes back (and can play on a NHL level), do you think that he'll be playing as limited as Downey? Or do you think he'll at least get some Kopecky minutes?

Has anyone else noticed that the Sens having being playing pretty mediocre as of late? I know we don't have them like the Duckies, but I could remember like a month ago where they were only handful of points back from us. Now we're like 8 games ahead of them. Seems like the Presidents Trophy is a given this year.

Agreed. I also want thank you for letting me be apart of this site. I'm sorry if there is any subjects or comments you've had to remove because of me (there has been a few). We have been lucky with Z and Dats, but if and when this deal is official, I hope we're incredibly lucky with Brunnstrom.

They're doing pretty good to this point with their injuries. If they continue to play this well they can be one of the other 7 teams in the West that might have to lose the the Wings

I agree with you if looking at a one game scenario. I don't know if we'd have similar success in a best of 7 if we "took a beating" like the topic says. A lot of wear and tear can happen to us. I just hope come playoff time we can dish out as much physical play as the Duckies do, if we play them that is.

I was looking at the NHL website and they were saying Pronger only weighs 213 lbs. Cleary is listed at 210. I don't know if I could really believe that.

I usually don't get to watch Wings games and tonight was no exception. I got so excited when I found out we beat the Ducks at their place, especially after a back to back I went the GDT topic tonight and saw that Cleary was hurt. That's why I didn't know.

I'm pretty sure the list was about how great the teams were in the regular season and how they got upset in the playoffs. The 8th seeded Oilers beating the 1st place Wings was a pretty big upset, I think.
