I like it...kind of corny,but that is what makes it appealing...maybe some Al shirts that have him sporting the beard!!! I'd buy that for a dollar!!!

I'm not a Kopy fan, but Kopecky is not a "grinder" although his role on this team is just that. He does what he is told to keep his spot on this team,but he has a bit more skill than people give him credit for. He doesn't get a chance to show it usually do to him trying to be the physical force on this team which he obviously isn't the best at,but he is doing it regardless and with no complaints so I give him credit for that. His numbers reflect that and also given his linemates they don't expect him to put up much in those regards.

Glad Homer is back...Hopefully Hossa is back soon as well.

I kind of wondered because when he went to the box and Hudler came into the box as well to serve out the penalty, Huds was saying something to Lils and he totally looked like he was on another planet....

Like everyone else I would love for Hossa to stay....but I don't want us to get bogged down with too many high end contracts like Tampa Bay did and then have nothing worth a damn to play with the top guys...and be screwed against the cap all the time....I think it to be wiser to focus on Franzen and Hudler and just appreciate this year for what it is...

god, tough to pick who,but right now which ever gets two out of three will make me content...Hossa,Franzen, Hudler...

I agree. Russia and Canada are the obvious favorites,but the U.S. team will be a good group as well and with a strong goaltending performance I wouldn't be surprised by anything the U.S. accomplishes.

They did play some games in Europe during the last World Cup.

Think Malkin is better than Crosby. Better all around player than Ovie. Doesn't get as much press because he is behind Crosby and more reserved than Ovie.
