You would be that dumb to think that Ericsson and Sammy are going after Staal when he didn't have the puck. The angle of the pic doesn't show the puck, the puck was passed away already, etc.

Funny enough you are only pointing things out that should have been called on the Wings while you are conveniently leaving out all the calls, many of them the same calls, that the Pens are getting away with. Exactly. Plus it allows the Wings to fiddle with their 3rd and 4th lines to get better match up since they do not have last change.

That why the Wings need to score within the first 10 minutes of the game. Really make this Pens team think that they cannot win. I would take a Hossa goal as that would probably be 3 times as soul crushing as if any other Wings player scored. The Sammy injury isn't as big as the Datsyuk/Lidstrom injuries. With the amount of turnovers sammy has, the Pens are probably upset to see him out.

Uh, yes. It's called even officiating for a reason. I don't know the specific instances because I don't dwell on stupid things like you do, but I distinctly remember Hossa getting clearly interfered with while entering the zone and I think it was Helm that was blatantly tripped on the blue line. Keep telling yourself that the Pens are playing clean hockey and the Wings are getting away with murder. Both teams have been getting away with penalties. Get over yourself.

Pittsburgh doesn't have a lot of momentum. Momentum is gained during actual game play, not during off days. If anything, the only thing the Pens have is desperation.

Unhappy with the officiating=the Pens are not getting enough PP's. Game #3 is the Bettman game. I expect a 3-to-1 difference in PP's not in favor of the Wings.

Exactly. To say Osggod is playing well is a joke. Osgood is playing out of his mind and is a major reason why the Wings are up 2-0. Osgood is playing fantastic and the Wings forwards and defensemen are playing well.
