If I could schedule the SCF: Game #1: Sunday, May 31 Game #2: Tuesday, June 2 Game #3: Friday, June 5 Game #4: Sunday, June 7 *Game #5: Wednesday, June 10 *Game #6: Friday, June 12 *Game #7: Sunday, June 14

No team is healthy this deep in the playoffs. The same argument can be made for Pens players. Gonchar is a top defenseman for the Pens and he hasn't been healthy since they played the Caps. If he reaggravates his knee in Game #1, he has no recovery time either. It works both ways, but yes, the Wings have more injuries to deal with. It seems like Lidstrom will be back and Datsyuk is still day-to-day, but I think he will be back also.

NBC was right behind the backs of the NHL while they made that schedule. NBC is more worried about Leno and Conan. If this series ends in 4, a minor cable network will be carrying the game in which the Cup is awarded. That's ******* bad. Versus and NBC need to be dumped. I'd rather ESPN carry every single SCF game rather than Versus and NBC splitting the games.
-
It's so that Game #6 falls on a Saturday for NBC. This schedule was made by NBC, not the NHL.
-
I don't think that the schedule works in favor of the Pens. Yes, the Pens get the extra day, but they have to travel to Detroit while the Red Wings get to stay home. Imagine you are a Pens fan (Yikes!), how would you feel about back-to-back away games?
-
Uh, yes they can. Look at Toronto. They have the WORST ownership in the NHL and they are not about to move out of town. Just research a little.
-
You don't almost lose a franchise because you are selling out every game. If that was the case, the Maple Leafs would have left Toronto long ago. Team finances rely on selling tickets.
-
He will be back, as will Datsyuk.

We all know how passionate Pittsburgh fans were 2 years ago. What a surprise, you don't find something about the Wings impressive. What's next, you don't think the Wings will win the Cup? You're arguing against people who have watched the Wings their entire lives, as I have. It's extremely obvious you started to follow hockey when the Pens drafted Crosby. For a city that almost lost their hockey franchise due to lack of fan support, you have no right to question the title of Hockeytown.

If the Hawks were in the playoffs more, this writer would realize that these kind of goals are common.
-
How many more stupid Pens fans will we have to hear ***** now? I've already had my fill of them.
-
Is there a single post that you make in which you do not whine and *****? I'm starting to think that this idiot might actually be Crosby.

The Hawks weren't even that good with Khabibulin. He had a .896 GAA going into this series, which was among the lowest of the remaining goalies. Steve Mason had a better GAA than Khabibulin and he was eliminated in the first round. The Hawks were able to win because they got a lot of scoring from their forwards. This round, the Detroit defense has shut down the Hawks forwards, which has resulted in a 3-1 series lead for the Wings. Also, the Wings have not lost a game this playoffs by more than a goal. I think that also speaks volumes to how good the Wings' defense is. Also, the Wings won Game #4, allowing only 1 goal while missing their best defenseman. You can downplay the strength of the opponents the Wings have faced to make yourself feel better, but no one is buying it. The Penguins, on the other hand, took 7 games to beat a Capitals team that had no defensive strength and limited scoring depth. You might be feeling all fine and dandy from sweeping the Hurricanes, but the Hurricanes were just as weak as the Blue Jackets. If it were not for Cam Ward, the Canes would not have made the playoffs and if they did, would have been a first round exit.

You couldn't score with a drunk porn star let alone on Huet. I'd like to argue your points but there is no use in doing so because you will just continue to ***** and rehash the same arguments over and over again, like you have been doing this entire thread. It's almost like you're trolling. Go back to playing with your Weebles.

You fail at humor and are also probably too young to see rated R movies.

You people? What do you mean, "you people?" I think sidthekid and Jake Ryan might get along.

Same old story, different series. I guess Campbell failed to watch a replay of the hit or he is just stupid. To me, it seems like Campbell is trying to jockey the NHL into suspending Kronwall. MLive

To Gary Bettman: You know your tv contract is bad when your own players cannot watch NHL playoff games. MLive

What does Sidney Crosby think of this topic? Fail.

sidthekid joins the legions of Pens fan who make themselves look like idiots on this forum. Welcome to the club. I'm willing to bet that he didn't care about the Pens 2 years, along with everyone else. Everyone should just ignore him and this whole topic. Don't feed the troll(s). My point made for me. Thanks.

I just read that myself and was appalled but not surprised. I'm sure he's upset about the officiating because it wasn't in favor of the Hawks, as it was in Game #3. I'm sure not one Hawks fan complained about the officiating in Game #3. Immature fans that cheer for an immature team.

You asked for thoughts on the SCF and thoughts about what teams are going to play in it and what team is going to win certainly qualify. You're a Pens fan starting a topic on a Red Wings forum. Expect lots of arguing i.e., lots of pages.
