This is another case of the NHL rulebook being complete s***. You look at one rule and it is a penalty, but if you look at another it is not. This same type of citing the rulebook came into play with Cleary's goal in Game #7. By one rule it was a goal, but by another it wasn't. The NHL rulebook needs to be rewritten, but it won't happen because if it did the refs would no longer be able to be untouchable. The NHL is turning into one big joke. Ambiguity in rules makes them worthless and stupid.

Brown got a 5 minute major for interference for his hit on Hudler as well as a game misconduct.

Media coverage is increasing, but whether or not the number of stupid players isn't increasing is debatable.

It is possible that a Red Wings fan joined today. Why is that so hard to believe? Not everyone knows about this site and he could have just found it today or had no reason to join until today. The Red Wings don't do the kinds of things that you talk about. It's players seeking that media attention that is provided by those 12 sports channels and a billion blogs. Take a look at the Wings reaction to the Hudler hit and it is nothing like the reaction Wisniewski had to the "elbow" Holmstrom landed and nothing like Campbell's reaction to Kronwall's hit. Not all players are saying stupid things.

Calling Kronwall gutless is not siding with your teammate, it's being a jackass who is trying to make this big, grand statement.
