I don't care if Hossa is the second coming of Christ. Maltby has been with the Wings for 12 seasons and Hossa has been with the Wings for 1 season. The vet gets to keep his number. Your name is what the Hall of Fame glorifies, not your number.

What the hell is the difference? It was Maltby's number when Hossa got here and it is going to remain Maltby's number. Hossa is #81 as long as he is a Wing. Way off base buddy.
