They forgot to mention how the Ducks got away with several cross-checks and interference penalties.

They are right that it's all part of hockey, but the NHL makes no attempt to try and eliminate it from hockey.

It's 1 game. Just one. No expected the Wings to sweep their way through this series. It's their first loss after 5 consecutive playoff wins. I hate to say it, but the Wings were due for a loss. Remember, it took the Ducks 3OT to beat the Wings. On to Game #3. Serenity Now, Goosfraba, etc.

Because it was the intent of the ref to blow the whistle. The whistle doesn't need to be heard for the actual play to be blown dead. It's stupid, I know.

The NHL has no idea why they suspend players when they do. I really think it comes down to a coin flip. Kunitz clearly cross-checked Varlamov in the HEAD. So much for trying to eliminate hits to the head.
