Players do crazy things to stay in the D, but you are probably right. Get something of value for him and part ways. We have guys like Leino and Helm who serve the same purpose.
-
The NHL website is slow to post the times. Like they don't know what they are already.
-
Minnesota had some firepower this season, but Lemaire still focused on that defensive, trap hockey system.
-
Look at these predictions from Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports. I think he might be a little crazy. CBS Sports

I thought Osgood looked really good today. I am glad he is the playoff starter.
-
With all 16 playoff spots filled up, which of the 14 remaining teams was the biggest disappointment this season? Western Conference Nashville Minnesota Edmonton Dallas Phoenix LA Colorado Eastern Conference Florida Buffalo Ottawa Toronto Atlanta Tampa Bay NY Islanders
-
The Wings have been lobbying for a Thursday start, so that means the NHL will screw them and give them a Wednesday start.
-
I will be nervous as hell. I won't be at home and will have nothing but ESPN on my cell phone to keep me updated on the St. Louis game. I better take my phone charger with me. Go Blues!

They get hauled down to the ice and get nothing, maybe a PP, but not the penalty shot.
-
Phoenix beat up on San Jose Thursday night, handing them a 4-1 loss. I don't think it will be that easy for the Ducks. Go Coyotes!
-
Franzen is signed. On to Hossa now.
-
Correct. I believe it is the only match-up that is set in stone as of now.
-
San Jose is struggling worse than the Wings in these last couple of games.
-
I think Edmonton's poor finish means MacTavish will be fired.
-
Babs tried very hard not to cuss and ended up saying that Babs had the replay and the ref didn't and he didn't see what the ref saw.
-
Summary of the game: Conklin played like crap and the refs handed Chicago the game with the worst call of the season.
-
That's because they screen out all the callers that have anything bad to say about the refs or Bettman.
-
Yes, but Columbus also enters the mix if they lose and the Blues win.
-
The Blues play Colorado and the Ducks play Phoenix.
-
It's still possible, but Modano could have really helped out.
-
Same here. I went 3/4 today. I picked Nashville to win.
