Great. So they fought more, but did they fight more because of legal hits? I'm willing to bet that a response to a good check was another good check, not a fight. Fighting is an integral part of the game, but fighting after a legal hit shows nothing but classlessness. You can't go after a guy for playing hockey. It's just plain stupid.

Seeing as how I was born in 1989 I found it very difficult to watch hockey. People can fight. I am not knocking on fighting. You are not responding to my argument. What I am knocking on is unnecessary retaliation after clean, legal hits. It is stupid. Checking is part of the game. There is no reason to start a fight after a legal hit.

Do you want fights after every hit? Because that is what is starting to happen. There is more retaliation after clean hits then ever before. I love fights, but fighting after a clean hit is stupid.

I have a theory that whenever they do not show a replay of a called penalty it is because it was a bs call. That is why they didn't show the call on Homer.
