Babcock finally opened his eyes long enough to see that Rafalski has been playing like crap. I don't think a day off from practice will do much good, but hopefully it does something. Babs says he got the day off because he has been playing good, but I don't buy that. Glad to see that Hossa will be back in the lineup. Hossa should come out hungry and spark the struggling offense. I hope this lines don't stay put for the game. I want to see the euro twins with Homer and the solid second line of Flip, Franzen and Hossa. MLive

The Blues are only 2 points out of the playoff picture right now. They are going to come out hard and not let up. The Wings need a full 60 minute effort this time, no sitting back. I hope Osgood has an amazing game and that the defense shows up so that he can have that amazing game.

I would be disappointed as a fan if I found out that the Wings came out for games and did not play 100%. The Wings have been giving up a lot of goals this season and have been able to pull out wins because of our high powered offense. But when that offense dries up, like in the third period last night, our swiss cheese defense is put on the spot and they usually do not respond well and that is when you get 3 goals in just over 2 minutes. I don't know what to think anymore. 5-0 shutouts to 8-0 blowouts, it's all crazy.
