I'm not making any excuses. I made some comments about Osgood previously, but I was by far not the most vocal person about him. Look a few pages back and you'll see that I support leaving Osgood out of this thread since he is not even playing nor is he in the building. End.

I expect the defense wants to make the game easy for Jimmy, so they should be on their heads as well.

I hope that Jimmy has a good game. I want him to succeed in the NHL. Wings defense continues to play strong and the offense continues to fire on all cylinders, especially on the power play. 3-1 Wings.

Going to the game tonight. 5-1 Wings with Hossa getting the first hat trick for the Wings this season. Conks will play on his head and will only let in a goal when it goes in off of Kopecky's skate.

This is a very smart move. It's obvious Ozzie has been struggling as of late and some time out will help him get his game back, I hope. I've been wanting to see Jimmy get his chance for a while now. Minnesota is no slouch of a team, so Jimmy will have to play on his head. It will be a good test to see if Jimmy has got it. D-men better play sharp in front of Conks. I don't want to be there for another loss. ******* Colorado.

We have been riding Ozzie and it has gained us nothing. Starting Ozzie as much as possible in the next few weeks will not sort out the fundamental problems that he has. Ozzie got his shot and he blew it big time. It's Ty's time to start as much as possible in the next few weeks.

Lidstrom is the next Red Wing to have his number retired. After that, Zetterberg/Datsyuk are the leading candidates.

They were all great players, but the rafters are reserved for the best players. The only one that has a chance is 96 and that is a slim to none chance.
