That term "Team of Destiny" is used way too much. I think it's just too early to be saying that, 6 wins to the cup yes, but 6 is still a lot of wins.

He hasn't been effective at all...which makes me wonder why they haven't started someone in his place. I mean if you can't play 100% or at a level that is close, you should be on the bench.

Eh, I don't know how I feel. On one hand it's hilarious to see the same fans who thought the Wings were finished when they were down by 2 in game 4, are the same ones who are saying the Wings will kill the ducks. Along those lines, the Wings haven't won anything yet, so let's hope the fans remember that. On the other hand, I don't see anything wrong with a little trash talking between the fans of both teams. Both sides really believe in their teams, nothing wrong with that. Just can't wait for the puck to be dropped Friday night.

No, we definitely don't count those. You can win all the individual, regular season, even conference championships, but other than the Stanley Cup, nothing else matters.

I admit that I am pissed off at the refs too...but you cant blame the game on them. Maybe if Calgary had like 12 power plays and Detroit had 3...then maybe. But the bottomline is Detroit is not scoring on their PP's and Calgary is.

What's the deal with the Wings' power play? Every shot is from a wierd angle or the blue line. The puck isn't being worked down low at all. Kipper's positioning is too good to hope to get screens, and these blueliners are all either being blocked or easily saved.

The biggest thing for Detroit is they absolutely NEED their power play units to step-up and start taking advantage of these opportunities.

No way they sit him tonight if he can play. Tonight's game has the ability to change the complexion of the entire series. If the Wings win they all but put the series away, if they lose suddenly the are looking at only a 1 game lead with one more in Calgary on Thursday. Not to mention it's very important for the Wings to finish the series early if they can, as to not wear out some of the vets like Cheli and Hasek and lets guys like Zetts rest (he says he's better, but he has to still be sore). Plus the more games you play the more chance you have of other injuries happening.
