Yes, I hope that he is able to pull himself together. Right now he ranks about 55th out of 60 NHL goaltenders in SV% and GAA.... On the positive side, his shootout SV% is pretty solid. Unfortunately, the Wings didn't get to the shootout tonight because he let in that stinker.

.792 save percentage for the game for Bernier. I remember reading about how his contract was such a good deal for the Red Wings at the beginning of the year. Looks more like a ripoff at this point.

I just noticed that Frk didn't make your replaced players list. So, it seemed like you must have liked him over de la Rose (and Ehn) and I was curious why. Personal preference works, though. I get it. Now that you mention it, I would keep Ehn over Frk also. But, I guess I just like de la Rose a little bit better, just on reflex - I didn't really think much about my previous post and de la Rose came to mind before Ehn. Although, I can see the argument that de la Rose has had more of a chance to prove his value at the NHL level than has Ehn.... so maybe de la Rose is what he is and we know that, but Ehn might have more to show (positively) that we haven't seen. I don't hate Frk or anything, I just think de la Rose or Ehn would be better options as a reserve forward for Detroit next season. I was a little surprised that they brought Frk back this season, to be honest.

Oh, no, sorry. I don't think the league is rigged or biased. I didn't think the officiating was particularly poor in this game either. I did think the embellishment call on Athanasiou was bad. If you thought it was a good call, that's cool. We don't have to agree and I don't take issue with you opinion on that. It's not that your point is an awful one... whiny fans are annoying and those of us that whine probably should try to do that less... but, maybe if you approach the subject with less arrogance and condescension, you'd have better results. That's, of course, assuming that you were actually trying to effect change in people. If you were just trying to piss everyone off, you were obviously quite effective. Plus, just my opinion, but I don't believe that the vast majority of fans (or anyone on here) actually think the league is rigged or the refs are biased. People just respond in the heat of the moment with emotion. I mean, different things are big deals to different people... but maybe just try not to care so much about it. I doubt it's going to go away.

I may have missed something, but your original complaint about people complaining about refs did seem to be applied to the entire fanbase.

Whiny fan can be annoying. Fan that thinks they are better than other fans/tells people how they should fan can also be annoying.
