Not sure if anyone noticed or mentioned this already.... but, with his 2 goals last night, Datsyuk tied Slava Kozlov with 853 career regular season points. When he gets his next point, Datsyuk will be the 5th highest scoring Russian NHL player of all time behind only Sergei Fedorov, Alexander Mogilny, Alexei Kovalev, and Alex Ovechkin.

Why do you think that people forget that? Maybe it is because ANYTHING looks awesome when appearing next to a Jimmy Howard shootout performance.

Fortunate to get a point due to the goaltender's passing the puck to the opposition and then allowing them to slide it underneath him. Howard deserved every bit of a regulation loss and his team bailed him out to take it to OT after he single-handedly threw away the two goal lead. Then he failed everyone again in the shootout... making zero saves, which is his shootout specialty.
