I wouldn't say we're toast....but I do smell something starting to burn. The Wings certainly deserve this series more than the Ducks do. They have played better. It's too bad about that whole.....'luck' thing.

Not to mention the too many men no-call. I feel like we should have won the series with this game. I think the Ducks have earned one win out of five games. Unfortunately, none of that matters and we're stuck with this misfortune even if the ducks didn't earn it.

He could say that. And it would be correct, you are right. But instead he chose to say what he said, which is a legitimate excuse and also is correct. The game should not have been in overtime. The goalie was pushed in. That's not legal. It should have been negated and it wasn't. It's a valid point. Does that mean that what you say about it being a good game for both teams is not true? - no, it was a good game for both teams....I hope we will 'get them next time'....EVEN THOUGH we should have had a win in regulation, but were robbed by a poor officaiting decision.

Ok, so somebody help me out here. Apparently I've reached the limits of my hockey I.Q. Even the commentators said that Niedermeyer pushed Hasek in the net with the puck on top of him. IS that legal? I mean, I wouldn't think that it would be....otherwise, why wouldn't goalies get pushed into the net all the time? Can someone more educated on the subject help me out?

Anyone think that the conditional draft picks based on the amount of playoff games Bertuzzi plays in has anything to do with the decision against his playing tomorrow?

I'm originally from West Virginia and there are no professional sports teams in WV. I love sports and I've always used Cleveland as my home sports city as it was usually the closest and my Dad is a Cleveland sports fan. Plus, where I grew up is like right across the river from Ohio. But, Ohio didn't have a hockey team at all when I was younger and noone in West Virginia likes hockey, generally speaking. Thus, I had never really been introduced to hockey at all. But, I happened to start watching when I was 14 during the lockout season and followed the Red Wings because I hate Pittsburgh teams and Detroit was about as close as anything else, but mostly because I loved Vladimir Konstantinov..... I have been hooked ever since. I love the Wings more than any of my other teams that I follow now.
