The angle you're talking about was shot from behind the ref. I've been looking for it too. You can see why he didn't call anything and he had the best view. -

Neither ref called a penalty initially and the ref at that end had a real good look at it. It was only after they conferred with the linesmen that the call was made. Good article by Mitch Albom: Can't agree with the Refs on this one. -
Nothing irrational about that fear.

I don't expect to see any major hits by Kronwall. The Wings can not afford a game misconduct or a suspension to their #1 D-man.
