Biggest game of his career at the age of 19. If he ends up being s*** by the time he reaches the NHL I really doubt it will be because of one game. Oh and the NHL scouts - big deal! He was already drafted and he still ended up being voted the best goaltender of that tournament. If you just dislike the guy because of it, fair enough, but his future in the NHL isn't exactly threatened just because of that one game.

Atlanta will give him the league maximum. If he decides to leave to another team, they will have to be able to offer him close to the maximum and a better team. But yeah, if Kovie leaves Atlanta then that franchise is going to be dead for a few years.

He's young, he'll learn. Besides, saying that you'd be ashamed if he put on a Red Wings jersey means you most likely should've committed ritualized suicide when Chelios or Bertuzzi joined the team considering the fun things they're famous for.
