While I wish him the best of luck I'm mainly happy that the expectations have decreased dramatically. A year ago this forum and Swedish newspapers would have been flooded with comeback-stories, interviews and opinions from everyone and their dog. If the try-out with Modo goes well this might still happen, so I'm not holding my breath - just patiently preparing myself to ignore any and every Forsberg news story that doesn't include the expression "comeback of the decade."

I think Lidström might sign a 2-year contract worth $8M or something. A big drop from his current but I think that's still allowed... right?

More a case of bad economy + failing teams + salary cap than conspiracy. The reason why this is even a borderline legitimate rumour, and I'm quoting South Park, is because 1/4 of people are.. well.. you know.

Dick Axelsson will probably work out fine. I really hope he pulls a Daniel Larsson and stays in NA. I don't really know what happened with Ryno. For a while it seemed like he had everything going for him and then *poof* he was gone. Going to be an interesting training camp this year.

All these guys do a lot for their respective teams and I don't doubt Crosby has grown a lot during his seasons... But enough to be in the top 3? Gimme a break! Iginla should probably be on that list, and I get why Chara is on there but there are so many others that clearly deserve it as much as those two much less Crosby...
