Well done, by both teams. Atlanta is getting rid of some weight while this move certainly won't hurt the Canadiens.

I really don't see how Detroit would go after a goalie and I don't really see how they could improve on forward so yeah a veteran defender would be cool. Preferably a defensive defender but anyone that is responsible in all zones with some kind of upside (defense, offense, physical, etc.) would be cool.

Well with Orr it was never really a question of Norris trophies. But you're right tho, as much as I love Lids, the videos I've seen of Orr and the stories I've read... if he had stayed healthy I really wonder how many Norris' he would've ended up with.

As much as I'd love for Dats to win MVP if Ovechkin gets within 5 points of whoever is in the point-lead with the amount of goals he'll likely have I don't really see how he won't get it. Unless of course Malkin keeps up his 10-point lead...

Green is a great kid but Chara seems like a fair choice this season. Obviously I want Lids to win it but I'm not going to complain too much if Chara gets it.

The Rangers always make me laugh. The team is like that uncle at bbq who is fun at the beginning but then eventually he gets so drunk that he stops making any sense whatsoever...

Considering the disarray that Ottawa is in then Kuba might be an ok choice. Though I suppose the price for him might get jacked up.

The Rangers have a tendency to get quite ok players with some being worldclass but they're almost always... flawed... as a team.

Why not find a rich Russian or oil-sheik? Seems to work for English football clubs. And you may decide for yourself whether I'm being serious or not.
