All I'm hoping for is that those Canadians keep that stuff up against the goalie when they get to the NHL - I bet they'll get some great reception =/ EDIT: I'll just add that it's been a long time since I've seen a Swedish goalie get so pissed off, they tend to stay quite calm

Axelsson's also had problems with the team he's played for most of this season. Now that he's on a new team with strong management support I really think he'll do better and play with much more confidence.

Well a lot of these guys will either be resigned or retire but then again I doubt Detroit will have much playroom to make any difference anyway...

Well last year it was Rory, this year it'll be the Canadiens... EDIT: I checked the leaders last night and the Red Wings weren't doing too great. Now Lidström is far ahead on the defensemen and Rafalski is 2nd. And our top 3 (Zetterberg, Hossa and Datsyuk) are moving on up. Do we have the LGW to thank for that ... I'll vote a few more times tonight, until I get bored.

Well this is a rebuilding move that actually makes sense.

Sundin, more than any other player for me, is the icon of Swedish hockey. When he puts on the jersey, more than Forsberg or Lidström, I expect Sweden to win. And Sundin has delivered. That alone gives him a spot in the Hall, at least for me. And if you want to bash me for some kind of national pride then so be it.
