Um... You wouldn't trade Malkin for Ovechkin? I'd trade anyone except Crosby for Ovechkin. And I say that because Lidström, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Kronwall aren't going anywhere...

Sure. The biggest problem is that the Pens can surround Crosby and Malkin with inept jackasses and still make a serious run for the Cup.

Crosby is, and will be for the next 15 years (hell maybe even 1500 years) the center of attention for the NHL.

AO playing together with Crosby would likely have scored about 15 more goals. But of course that's not certain because Backstrom isn't a crap center. Not to mention that combo would have made Pittsburgh look like... well I don't know what it would've looked like. It would've been insane.... INSANE

I am Swedish. Well, not really but that's not the point. As a Swedish citizen AND a Red Wing's fan there is only ONE hockey god and that's Yzerman. And I tried really hard not to be blasphemous but I failed. Meh.

If anyone should be honored in Detroit for his off-ice demeanor and behaviour, it's Lidstrom. But I have no problem Zetterberg getting sweet things thrown at him. Edit: I goofed... No biggie. -

How difficult is it to pick and develop guys like Crosby, Malkin and Fleury? They are amazing players but no credit should go to the organization - it doesn't take skill to suck...

After Sweden lost the semi I kinda stopped caring but his smile changed it all. It brought back a lot of great memories. Seems he's found some fun in playing again.
