I've been Rhino's biggest supporter from the beginning and I know (well at least hope) that he has the potential to really become something unexpectedly good. But giving him a forward spot on the Wings right now is too early. He needs to settle in properly in NA first and get to play some big minutes in the GR before hitting the Wings squad. Maybe some call-ups later in the season, I don't know. But I truly hope the coaches don't waste his potential by forcing him to play above his skill level to early. On the other hand, he might be ready for the pressure, who knows but I doubt that Ryno will end up getting the 13th spot... Oh and the comparisons to Lilja are unfair - how long has he been here and he's already being associated with Lilja, give him a break and let him get used to the NA game first.

Um. I've actually been wondering - how old is this "Hockeytown" label? Oh and personally I care not at all about those three sports but yeah I don't actually live in Detroit nor even in the US so why does that matter... Byah! Good for you guys. I'll be honest, the more support the game gets, the better. But I'll tell you what, Detroit has such good fans that the owner can afford to more or less ignore them... No it isn't but on the other hand I don't really care. Detroit has been the most successful team in the US - even the NHL total - in recent history so it isn't a stretch to call it Hockeytown. Every year - for the past, what, 15 years? - Detroit has been a challenger for the Cup, at least before the start of the playoffs . It might actually just be what you say it is but the fact is - no matter how you turn it around - it looks ugly. Especially considering other teams manage to do without this suspension. Fernando Pisani is in a similar situation isn't he? I'm sorry but while the color scheme is really great - the slug comments are quite justifiable, if it was my team I'd be cranky. The old jerseys from back in the day - weren't they the 3rd jersey last season? - are amazing and one of my all-time favorites.

I thought they'd been trying to do this for a while now...I wonder why Buffalo is getting this rep when there are more deserving teams out there - like Anaheim .

Best: 1. Washington - I can't help it, the new jersey looks amazing - I'm getting a Backstrom one for sure... 2. Toronto - The next 2 jerseys have more or less the same place on my list... 3. Detroit - I love the winged wheel: it's beautiful 4. Buffalo - I like the new one but the old classic one is perfection 5. Minnesota Wild - the home jersey looks strange..but still nice - bit of an outsider really Worst: 5. NYI - never been a big fan of that symbol - I like the colours but that symbol doesn't really do it... 4. Vancouver - it's ugly...but not thaaaat ugly...The text just makes it gross - the rest of it is fine 3. Anaheim - where's the duck? 2. Dallas - where is the star?
